We want every woman to feel confident, comfortable and her best in our swimwear, and we’ll let you in on a little secret, it all starts with the fabric. When it comes to swimwear, it really takes beating; sun, sand, salt and chlorine, so ensuring we use the highest quality fabrics has always been a top priority.

The first thing you’ll notice (and the reviews speak for themselves) is how soft Infamous Swim swimwear is, the difference is our fabric, polyamide. We often hear that our swimwear feels ‘as soft as silk’, and there’s a reason for this, polyamide was actually first designed as an alternative to silk! When it comes to the female form, everybody has their own unique shape, there can’t be a one size fits all approach to swimwear, and Polyamide offers the support and the amazing fit for all shapes and sizes due to its flexibility, it’s basically a super fabric. The blend of polyamide and spandex results in the superior fit, body loving, curve hugging, smoothing and flattering fit that you love. 

Our swimwear is the ultimate summer attire, being crafted from polyamide means it remains cool, wicks away moisture, has low absorbency and dries quickly, the ideal combination for swimwear don’t you think!? Nothing worse than sitting in dripping wet bathers hours after your last dip, your Infamous Swim cozzie will dry quickly post swim, and when your beach days are active, your swimmers will work hard wicking away any sweat. Speaking of active, polyamide is strong and durable, designed to keep its shape, you can be guaranteed a good fit for longer, no-one wants saggy bikini bottoms right!?

We’re definitely not happy with second best, that’s why Infamous Swim fabrics have been put to the test! We don’t just want a swimwear fabric that looks good and feels good, we also want your togs to work harder for you. We all know the harshness of our Australian sun, and that’s why all our swimwear is UPF50+ rated, protecting your skin and ensuring we achieve the highest UPF testing results. You know we love a print and nothing screams summer more than the bright sunshine colours we feature across our range, so testing for colour fastness is a test our fabrics have to pass before they’re crafted into your favourite bikini. And if you opt for any of our white or light shades, we also test for opaqueness, you’ll never have to worry about see-through swimwear in Infamous Swim! 

Our swimwear is ethically made and our fabrics come out of our long standing relationship with our manufacturer, meeting SA8000 and BSCI certifications, meaning labour standards are high, and there are socially acceptable practices in the workplace. We have a strong relationship with our manufacturing team and ensure our fabrics and swimwear are produced to the highest standards by a manufacturing team where ethical working conditions are met.
